Salvador Dali's Angels Collection

The Klein Family of New York (friends of mine) have put up for exhibition and sale Dali's Angels Collection. This is a collection of original drawings and sketches done by Salvador Dali for Dr. Edmund Klein. During the 1970s, Dr. Klein and Salvador Dali enjoyed a personal relationship that developed out of their doctor/patient relationship. Dali referred to Dr. Klein as "mon ange" (my angel) on a number of the drawings and sketches. For thirty years, the Klein Family kept these drawings and sketches locked away in a vault, but in 2008, decided to show them to the world for the first time, creating a whirlwind of excitement, especially among Dali experts and collectors.

Learn more about the Dali/Klein relationship here and/or see the Dali drawings and sketches here.
